The Vision of St. Hubert | Giclée on Paper
Price range: 130.00 € through 680.00 €
Description
“Hubert, unless you turn to the Lord, and lead a holy life, you shall quickly go down into hell.”
The Vision of St. Hubert depicts the moment when Christ, seen in the stag’s antlers through the legendary vision, interrupts a life ordered toward the hunt and calls Hubert to conversion. In the forest on Good Friday, Hubert encounters the crucifix between the antlers, hears a voice that warns him to turn to the Lord and lead a holy life, and is brought from worldly pursuit into a new direction: divine mission.
